The story opens

저는 호야예요. 302호에 살아요.

I'm Hoya. I live in 302.
저녁에는 소호학당에서 한국어를 배워요. 오늘은 가방에 증조할머니의 편지를 넣어 왔어요.

In the evenings I learn Korean at the Soho Academy. Today I brought my great-grandmother's letter in my bag.
편지에서 한 줄은 읽었어요. '사랑하는 우리 아이들에게.' 그 다음 줄은 아직 안 읽었어요.

I've read one line of the letter. 'To my dear children.' I haven't read the next line yet.
