Adjectives before nouns

To put an adjective in front of a noun, add - after a vowel and -은 after a consonant: 큰 우산, 작은 우산. adjectives change to 운 (더운 여름), and stems drop the (길다 → 긴). Adjectives ending in 있다 or 없다 take -는 instead: 맛있는 호떡.

  • 시원한 바람이 불어요.

  • 추운 겨울을 좋아해요?
