V-(으)ㄹ 만하다
Worth doing
-(으)ㄹ 만하다 says something is worth doing, or good enough to do. It's how Koreans recommend things: 가 볼 만해요, 먹을 만해요. Listen to the tone — 먹을 만해요 can be real praise or just “it's all right”.
| When | Use | Example |
|---|---|---|
| ends in a vowel | -ㄹ 만하다 | 볼 만해요 · 가 볼 만해요 |
| ends in a consonant | -을 만하다 | 먹을 만해요 · 읽을 만해요 |
| before a noun | -(으)ㄹ 만한 | 가 볼 만한 곳 |
