V-(으)ㄹ 수 있다 / 없다
Can and can't
-(으)ㄹ 수 있어요 means “can” — you are able to, or it is possible. -(으)ㄹ 수 없어요 means “can't”, a fuller version of 못. After a vowel add -ㄹ 수, after a consonant -을 수; stems that already end in ㄹ just add 수: 날다 → 날 수.

I can read Hangul.
비가 와요. 그래서 오늘은 등산할 수 없어요.
