-(으)ㄹ걸요
Probably … (I think)
A soft guess: you think something is true but you're not quite sure, and you often use it to gently correct what the other person expects. The voice usually goes up at the end. After a vowel use -ㄹ걸요, after a consonant -을걸요, and for a guess about the past, -았/었을걸요.
| When | Use | Example |
|---|---|---|
| ends in a vowel | -ㄹ걸요 | 좋아하실걸요 · 바쁠걸요 |
| ends in a consonant | -을걸요 | 많을걸요 · 있을걸요 |
| past | -았/었을걸요 | 닫았을걸요 · 떠났을걸요 |
