-(으)면 좋겠다
I hope… / I wish…
-(으)면 좋겠어요 is how Korean says “I hope” or “I wish” — literally, “it would be good if…”. Use it for things you can't fully control: the weather, other people, the future. -았/었으면 좋겠어요 makes the wish a little stronger.

소리쌤이 제 편지를 읽어 주시면 좋겠어요.
