-다면
If (imagining)
-다면 is “if” for situations you are imagining or that are unlikely — winning the lottery, being a bird. It is the plain -다 form plus 면, so it changes shape the way reported speech does. Plain -(으)면 is for things that may well happen; -다면 sounds more hypothetical.
