-(으)ㄴ/는 대로
Just as …, the way …
-(으)ㄴ/는 대로 means “in the same way as” or “just as”: do it the way I do. Use -는 대로 for something happening now and -(으)ㄴ 대로 for something that already happened — as I said, as you taught me. After a noun, 대로 attaches directly: 계획대로, “as planned”.
| When | Use | Example |
|---|---|---|
| happening now | -는 대로 | 내가 하는 대로 |
| already happened | -(으)ㄴ 대로 | 말한 대로 · 배운 대로 |
| noun | 대로 | 계획대로 · 마음대로 |
