V-게 하다
To make or let someone do
-게 하다 works with almost any verb: 하게 하다, 생각하게 하다. The person made to act takes 에게 or 을/를. Compare the two: 먹이다 is feeding someone yourself, while 먹게 하다 is getting them to eat on their own.
Examples
소리쌤이 저에게 분리수거를 하게 하셨어요.
Sori-ssaem made me sort the recycling.
엄마가 동생을 일찍 자게 했어요.
Mum made my little brother go to bed early.
이 포스터가 사람들을 한 번 더 생각하게 할 거예요.
This poster will make people think twice.
