-(으)라고 하다
Passing on a request or an order
For requests and orders, use -(으)라고 하다: -라고 after a vowel or ㄹ, -으라고 after a consonant. “Don't …” becomes -지 말라고. Watch 주세요: when people ask for something for themselves, it becomes 달라고; when it's for someone else, it's 주라고.

부장님이 일찍 오라고 하셨어요.
The manager said to come early.
사장님이 크림빵을 네 시까지 만들라고 하셨어요.
The boss said to make the cream buns by four.
손님이 빵을 하나 더 달라고 하셨어요.
