What you can do after Level 6
- Talk about a bold decision made in a bad situation, and about circumstances you hadn't known (-는 마당에, -(으)ㄴ/는 줄도 모르고, N을/를 무릅쓰고, N(에) 못지않게).
- Read provisos in notices and rules (-되); argue in speech that something can't happen, or might happen unexpectedly (-(으)ㄹ 턱이 없다, -는 수가 있다, -자니).
- Describe a conflict: “I knew it”, “simply can't”, “the moment that…”, “on the verge of” (-더라니, -(으)려야 -(으)ㄹ 수가 없다, -기가 무섭게, -(으)ㄹ락 말락).
- Read a media explainer and chart and write the trend as a TOPIK 53 paragraph; talk about futile attempts and mild regret (-(으)나 마나, -는 동시에, -(으)ㄴ/는 터라, -(으)ㄴ 감이 있다).
- Read an abstract and write a summary that states its grounds (N에 입각해, N을/를 감안해); complain that something fell far short of expectations (N은/는 고사하고, -(으)ㄴ/는 게 고작이다).
- Read a performance review and write a response with concession and highest praise (-(으)ㄹ지언정, -(으)ㄹ 나위가 없다, -기 이를 데 없다; -기로서니: recognise only).
