Hoya reads the letter

Hoya reads his great-grandmother's letter aloud to Sori — all of it.

The scene opens

    호야 씨, 오늘은 일찍 왔네요. 해도 아직 안 떴어요.

    You're early today, Hoya. The sun isn't even up.

  2. Hoya

    잠이 안 와서요. 오늘은 편지를 끝까지 읽고 싶어요.

    I couldn't sleep. Today I want to read the letter to the end.

  3. Hoya

    처음에 소리쌤이 읽어 주지 않으셔서 서운했어요. 이제는 알아요. 제가 직접 읽어야 하는 편지였어요.

    At first I was hurt that you wouldn't read it for me. I understand now. It was a letter I had to read myself.
