Charging the card and paying
Taught in Life in Korea, Unit 1: Bus, subway and the transport card
on a bus you cannot pay if the balance runs out (잔액이 부족합니다), and this is the very first question you will hear at a counter: 'how much?'. Two lines carry the whole exchange.

Please put three thousand won on my card.
