Korean grammar · Level 1
N만 · N밖에 + negative
Saying “only” (만 · 밖에)
counting people and things, you soon need 'only' — 'just one, please' in a shop, 'I have only one brother' about your family. Korean has two words for it, and one of them only works with a negative.
Example
저는 형 한 명밖에 없어요.
I only have one older brother.
