The formal ending 합니다체

Taught in Speech Room, Unit 1: Formal style 1: -(스)ㅂ니다

for two levels every sentence ended in -요. But you have also been copying a few sentences as blocks — 감사합니다, 반갑습니다, 잘 먹겠습니다. They all end in this formal ending, and now you can build it yourself.
