N에서 (place of action)
Where you do something
Taught in Level 1, Unit 5: Going and doing: polite present (2)
에 tells where things are and where you go, but you still cannot say where you STUDY, WORK or MEET. 에서 is the missing piece.

카페에서 친구를 만나요.
I meet a friend at a café.
