A-(으)ㄴ + N
An adjective in front of a noun
Taught in Level 2, Unit 2: Describing things (and irregular verbs)
so far an adjective could only end a sentence (날씨가 좋아요). To say “a small shop”, “a warm hotteok”, “a kind lady” you need the adjective to sit in front of the noun and describe it — and that is how nearly every description in Korean is built.
Example
큰 우산이 있어요.
I have a big umbrella.
