The honorific particles — the whole family

Taught in Speech Room, Unit 4: Honorifics 2: 께서 and special words

in L1-U12 you learned 께 for the person who receives, and were told 께서 was coming. With -(으)시- in your pocket you can finally complete the family: the subject, the topic and the receiver, each with its own respectful particle.

Example

  • 선생님께서 우리 반에 오셨어요.

    The teacher came to our class.
