ㅅ irregular
ㅅ irregular — ㅅ drops before a vowel
Taught in Level 2, Unit 5: Where does it hurt?
Why it matters: 낫다 (to get better) is the word you want at the clinic, and 짓다 (to build, to name) is very common. You already know ㅂ irregular (더워요) and ㄷ irregular (들어요); ㅅ is the third of this family — but only a few verbs behave this way.
Example
감기가 다 나았어요.
My cold is completely better.
