When…
Taught in Level 2, Unit 10: Time and contrast
you can already say 'if' (-(으)면) and 'before/after'. Now you can say 'at the time when…' — and, just as important, choose between 'when I go' and 'when I went'.
Example
저는 슬플 때 음악을 들어요.
When I'm sad, I listen to music.
