With N as the turning point — what started a change
a season ends by asking what started it all — a letter, a prize, a fall on the ice. To name the event that set a change in motion, Korean says N을/를 계기로.
Example
그 일을 계기로 두 사람은 더 가까워졌다.
That was the turning point after which the two grew closer.
