V-(으)려던 참이다
I was just about to… (right at that moment)
Taught in Level 4, Unit 8: Plans and intentions
it is the answer you need when someone reminds you of what you meant to do: 'I was just about to!' It also lets you say the plan and the interruption in one sentence.
Example
마침 저도 커피를 사려던 참이에요. 같이 가요.
I'm just about to buy a coffee too. Let's go together.
