Taught in Level 5, Unit 1: The new lease

contracts, notices and offers are full of limits — weekdays only, residents only, the first order only. In speech you say 만. In writing, and in any formal announcement, the limit is set with 에 한해(서), and Grandma Soonja borrows it to sound official.

Example

  • 주차장은 이 건물에 사는 사람에 한해 이용할 수 있습니다.

    The car park may be used only by people who live in this building.
