If (supposing, imagining)
Taught in Level 4, Unit 1: If I won the lottery
you have used -(으)면 since Level 2 for ordinary conditions. Level 4 is where you talk about things that are unlikely, imaginary or only supposed — winning a fortune, being a bird — and Korean has a shape that flags 'let us suppose'.
Example
내일 비가 온다면 소풍은 다음 주로 미룰 거예요.
If it rains tomorrow, we'll put the picnic off until next week.
