Making or letting someone — the causative that works on any verb
a lexical causative is a closed list. You cannot add -이- to whatever verb you like. -게 하다 works on any verb or adjective, and it also gives you 'let' and 'don't let', which is how Sori ended the scene: 못 놓게 할 거예요.
Example
그 영화는 저를 많이 울게 했어요.
That film made me cry a lot.
