피동 -이/히/리/기- · N이/가 + passive verb
Passive verbs — when something happens to the thing
the whole scene is things that just happen — a bag that cannot be seen, a window that opened. You already have -게 되다 and -아/어지다 for 'come to be'; passive verbs are the third way, and they are everywhere in daily talk: the road is jammed, the door won't open, the phone got cut off.
