-는구나 · -군요
Oh, I see! — a fresh realisation
Taught in Level 4, Unit 12: Hoya reads the letter (Level 4 review)
reading the letter, Hoya keeps making small discoveries: 'so she hoped for a reply'. Korean has an ending for exactly that moment. -구나 is for yourself or a friend, and -군요 is the polite form. You already know -네요; these two are softer and more thoughtful.
