N이/가 어디예요? · 어디에 있어요?
Asking where
Taught in Level 1, Unit 3: Where is it?
now that you can answer “where”, you can finally ask it.
어디 means “where”. Two questions are both natural: 어디예요? (“where is it?”, answered with 저기예요) and 어디에 있어요? (“where is it located?”, answered with 저기에 있어요). In daily life they mean almost the same thing.
