V-다가
Interrupting, or switching, in the middle of an action
Taught in Level 3, Unit 7: While I was travelling
on the road, things are always cut short — you walk and something catches your eye, you doze off in the middle of a view, you turn back halfway. -다가 is the ending for 'in the middle of X, something else'. You have already met it as a word or two in dialogue; here it is taught in one place, and the full family is finished.

길을 걷다가 옛 친구를 만났어요.
I ran into an old friend while walking along the street.
