Taught in Level 5, Unit 7: Mangwon is trending

change in a neighbourhood is measured in spans — over three years, across the whole alley, in two rounds of meetings. 동안 only says how long. 에 걸쳐 says the thing stretched across all of it, and it works for places and repeated rounds as well as for time.

Example

  • 구청은 세 차례에 걸쳐 주민들의 의견을 들었다.
