Quite likely · understandable — a reasonable guess and a reasonable feeling

on a long work day you keep judging what is reasonable — it would be natural for her hands to hurt; no wonder you're tired; she will probably want twice as much next year. -(으)ㄹ 것 같다 is a plain guess. These two say the guess or the feeling makes sense, given the situation.
Example
그렇게 오래 기다렸으면 화가 날 법도 한데 그는 웃기만 했다.
After waiting that long you'd expect him to be angry, but he only smiled.
