you can already say sorry for a reason (-아서, 때문에). Korean has a separate word for the other direction, 'thanks to', so you can credit the person or thing that helped. It is also a fixed part of polite replies, so you will hear it every week.

소리쌤이 도와주신 덕분에 숙제를 빨리 끝냈어요.
Thanks to Sori-ssaem's help, I finished my homework quickly.
