As I kept doing… (a gradual discovery)
Taught in Level 4, Unit 6: Pop culture
at Level 3 you told what you noticed (-더라고요) and what you found by trying (-아/어 보니까). Now you can say the very common thing that happens when you keep doing something — you end up somewhere you did not plan. It is how Koreans explain how they got into a hobby, a habit or a language.
Example
매일 한국 음식을 먹다 보니 매운 음식도 잘 먹게 됐어요.
Eating Korean food every day, I've got to where I can eat spicy food too.
