Even if … · What good would it do even if … — strong and rhetorical concessions

paperwork and hospitals are full of 'even if': even if it is a small amount, keep the receipt; even if you are not family, you can sign. You know -아/어도 and -더라도 (L4-U02). -(으)ㄹ지라도 is their strongest, most formal member. And when 'even if' becomes 'so what?', Korean has -(으)ㄴ들 — Bori's 'even if you wrote it with your left, who'd read it?'.

비록 작은 실수일지라도 서류에서는 큰 문제가 될 수 있다.
Even a small mistake can become a big problem in a document.
