-(으)ㄹ 텐데 · -았/었을 텐데
It must be… (so…) / It would have been… (but…)
-(으)ㄹ 것 같다 and -(으)ㄹ걸요 give a guess and stop. But when you guess, you usually want to say something because of it: 'he must be hungry, so eat first', 'she must have been so tired…'. And after Unit 1's 'if I had…', you need the sigh that finishes the imagined result: 'I would have…'.

지금쯤 배가 고플 텐데 먼저 드세요.
You must be hungry by now, so please eat first.
